The caterer has pledged that they will bring in best authentic food to spoil the taste buds of the British men and women.

Stefan Schenkelberg has asked the Center Manager of Edmonton Green Shopping Center in London N9 to have a trading pitch outside the center in the dedicated food court adjacent to the ASDA car park, next to the Jamaican food and the ice cream wagons. „We met food lovers here,” Stefan said. “The Center Management loves German food and they know what they expect as they are regular visitors of Germany,” he added.

A pitch designation for Gourmet Express Mobile Catering; this has now been principally agreed by the Center Management.

In terms of footfall the Schenkelberg’s are satisfied; “We looked at the footfall figures and we noted that the location of the food court is West Mall which shows a footfall of 74,000 per week,” Stefan explained. Gourmet Express Mobile Catering is the only mobile food business with a Hofbraeuhaus themed marquee. Gian, the son of the founder couple and one of the Directors, went to Munich a couple of times last winter to experience the culture in and around the Hofbraeuhaus.

You know what would go perfect with that Bratwurst from the Hofbraeuhaus themed marquee of Rainer’s Bavarian Grill?

“Beer. Beer is what made the Hofbraeuhaus, Bavarian’s number one restaurant, world-famous.” Gian Schenkelberg, the junior Director explained and he added: “I imagine wine probably would, too. And I know I want a pint with my pork steak whilst using the seating area in the Hofbraeuhaus themed marquee. So watch out for us at festivals. ”

Beer to be sold on a car park. Impossible! Of course councils in general prohibit roving food trucks to sell any sort of alcohol, because they don’t meet the requirements to do so.

“ They will have a small but traditional Bavarian seating area with bench kits for 16 people and also plan to use a large set up, a marquee to house up to 90 people for festival events.

Gourmet Express Mobile Catering and Rainer’s Bavarian Grill are trading names of Camden Bratwurst Pillar Limited

Gourmet Express Mobile Catering remains mobile..

A massive thank you to all who supported our market research for

Rainer's Bavarian Grillin the ‚covered‘ market area of Nags Head Market, 22 Seven Sisters Road, Holloway N7 9AG. We did as we said we would do and moved into the market

Gourmet Express M C moved into Londonto continue with our extensive research. In the end, sadly, we realized that it didn’t work out for us. Yes, the overheads were low but the real question was simple and directly related to the location: „What can we learn about how the poor engage with trade?“ This place wasn’t meant to be for a German food take away shop to grow.

Moving on, we are now focused on the development of our festival trade.

I can reassure our customers: There will be a delivery service for Potters Bar and the London N area and we will liaise with JustEat as a partner to help us with the marketing. Our business benefits from a computerized postcode
system.  For you, this means you can order your #Brats from us 1-2-3 click here

…stay tune.

With warm regards,

Stefan Schenkelberg
